How It Works

How the Scope of Work Is Agreed

Every engagement starts with understanding your situation, not with a package.

01

Share your situation

Write to us on WhatsApp or through the contact form and tell us what you need.

02

We review and explain

We explain what the work covers, what applies to you, and which documents are needed.

03

Work begins

Once the scope is clear, the work starts and you are kept informed until it is filed.

Section and form references on this page follow the Income Tax Act 1961 for periods up to tax year 2025-26, and the Income Tax Act 2025 from tax year 2026-27. Where a number changes between the Acts, the work follows the Act that applies to the period.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to file an ITR if my employer already deducted TDS?

Often yes. TDS is only an advance payment of tax. A return is needed if your income is above the basic exemption limit, and it is the only way to claim a refund of excess TDS. Some people below the limit need not file.

Is a tax audit mandatory for every business?

No. A tax audit under Section 44AB applies above set turnover limits, Rs 1 crore for most businesses and Rs 10 crore where cash receipts and payments stay within 5%, and above Rs 50 lakh gross receipts for professionals. Presumptive taxation can change the position.

Which documents are usually needed to start?

At minimum, your PAN, Aadhaar and the records for the work in question, such as Form 16 and AIS for an ITR, or invoices and returns for GST. Each service above lists the documents that are usually needed, and a checklist is shared at the start.

Does the practice work with clients outside India?

Yes. The practice works fully online, so documents, communication and delivery do not depend on location. NRIs are a regular part of the work, covering residential status, DTAA claims, NRE/NRO/FCNR accounts and property transactions.

How is the scope of work decided?

After you share your situation, the practice reviews it and explains what the work covers and which documents are needed before work begins. If a service does not apply to you, you are told so.

Have a Tax or
Compliance Question?
